New Listings

Thankyou so much to all those people who have replied to my emails this morning. What a wonderful response.

I have started my basic markets listings, to your right there, do you see them? This is just a small sample of market websites from across Australia, I will keep searching out and listing over the next few weeks. There are a heck of a lot of them out there aren't there?

If there is a market website not listed on here yet, please send me an email or pop a comment below so I can add it to the list. I will try my hardest to have a complete listing of all the markets who have a website, and for those who don't, I will be working on a concise list with all the contact details which will be posted soon.

Welcome to The Oz Market Blogger

Welcome one and all!

I have started this blog as a reference for markets of all types across Australia. I absolutely adore a good market, and even kinda like a bad one! It has something to do with the atmosphere and the friendly stallholders faces, the feeling of a little community that comes together randomly and invites you to share at their table. It may have music, it may have food, it most definitely has to have coffee! But whatever type of market it is, be it a collection of crafters, second hand sellers, food vendors or entertainers, I just adore markets!

Are you an avid market goer? Do you run a market that you would like to tell others about? Do you have a story to tell (good or bad) about an experience you had at an Australian Market? Do you have photos? I love a good market photo!

I am currently putting out the feelers to get people to help me out, writing and reviewing markets all over this wonderful country.
